SUPERC Utility

Used to compare the dateset . It may be PS,PDS,VSAM .

Enter ‘12’ on command line

Then give the first dataset name like below.

                                           

             

Press enter then give second dataset name like below.

 

                         

   



Then press enter you will get the output.

Here one is PS file and another is PDS and difference between them is member name.

If there are records in two PS dataset  and you have to find the unique records from them then use “SUPERC” utility.

These  daily activities are performed through ISPF main menu.
